Top Ways Pests Could be Entering your Home

It’s hard to tell when or how pests enter your home, but they’ll always manage their way inside. With the cold weather still here, these unwanted critters nuzzle their way in, looking for a warm place to stay. Frequently check these places to ensure your home is as pest-free as possible.

  1. Chimneys- Keep your chimney chap clean. If you don’t have one, consider investing in one. Birds, squirrels, and raccoons can easily sneak their way in.
  2. Windows- Make sure that your windows are kept closed, and that there are no holes in the screening.
  3. Siding- Check the foundation on the sides of your home. Seal up the gaps that create any openings.
  4. Roofs- Check roofs and rafters often, as small unwanted pests can squeeze their way in. Check for evidence in the form of droppings. Mice produce small black-grey droppings approximately the size of a large grain of rice.

We specialize in removing bats, rats, and other pests in the New York New Jersey area. For a complete inspection and evaluation please contact us or call us at 917-633-1597 and we will be happy to make an appointment at your convenience.
